Default 08' CBR600rr Air Filter & Spark Plugs question

Hey guys, I'm wondering when I should change/clean/inspect the Air Filter and Spark plugs. I recently did the minor maintenance on the bike myself @ 3k miles, because she was bought from the original owner @ 27xx miles. Oil & Filter, Chain Cleaned & Lubed, no need for adjustment as the chain was already adjusted properly. So now I'm wondering when I should change out the Air Filter and spark plugs.

It was super windy yesterday here in OK (Wind gusts of up to 45mph) and may have sucked up a good amount of dust into the filter, so that's why I'm a bit concerned. As far as the spark plugs, I can only assume that they are the OEM's as the bike has such low mileage, and I couldn't find anything in the manual about when they should be replaced.

Any tips advice will be greatly appreciated!

I would bet any money that both are good. Turn the key and enjoy. At that low of miles the only maintenance needed is a oil change.

We had some stormy windy days couple of months ago, and also had many days with vog (volcano fog). My bike started idling very rough and I thought it was just me, but my neighbor's bike was doing the same too. Yesterday, when we took off the fairings, omg, the amount of leaves etc inside the fairings. Anyways. since it was affecting how the bike idle, I got new air filter and was going to change it. But I could not figure out how to. We even moved the gas tank. Now I read in the manual that we were supposed to lift ECM. Didn't need to move the tank... either way, it is such a hassle to change or clean lol.

You should definitely still be fine on both. On my F4i, the manual says a filter replacement isn't needed until 24,000 miles! Your manual should say when is recommended for the RR, I'd imagine it's similar. You could definitely change it sooner if you feel like your area is especially dusty, but I wouldn't waste the money on it any time soon.
