Buy thermos and winter clothing and then just ride! In Australia we have just finished our winter..I was riding everyday and the weather was cold, but with the right gear it was not a problem! Now we R in spring coming into summer and just bought some new summer gear and can't wait.... But the main point is to ride...in all weathers...don't B SOFT(JK)

Resale is all about timing man. You may get lucky and get a bit more for your bike than you though, but having the money in hand is the key to getting a bike at a good deal when you buy a new one. And never buy from a dealership. Man. Winter does suck. It's 65 today........I've been with out my bike for 5 days and it feels like an eternity. Pick up my new one tonight, AFTER the warm day is gone. Great.

56000 km on a '01 model F4i, and it still makes 98hp at the wheel, just ride it and be happy, also regular oil changes make all the difference...

peace
