New Rider 03 600RR 3200 miles good deal?
Hey, I am a new rider, plan on getting my first bike. I found a 2003 CBR 600RR with only 3200 miles, stock, absolutely mint condition, no scratches, dings or sign of any wear. The price with title, tax, reg and everthing would be $7000. Do you think that is a good deal? NADA is lower, but NADA doesnt take milage or condition into consideration.
Ohy yoey yoey, here we go ...
So, really, you arent a rider yet? First off, many people on here are going to say that this is not a good starting bike, it being an RR (Race Replica). Have you taken the MSF course yet? HAve you ever ridden anything on 2 wheels?? I am not tryingto be smart, just wondering. If you MUST have a 600, I would recommend a F4/F4i before the RR. However, as for the deal. That is not a good deal at all in my opinion, You can get used 05's and some 06's for around there. Definately 2005s for sure. If its coming from a dealer, thats why. They will ream you. You can get 03s for probably around $5k. I would definately look around. No matter the condition, I dont think a 2003 is worth $7k. Look on Craigslist or Cycle Trader or your local paper. You will defiantely be able to find a better deal,.
BTW, Knightslugger willhave dibs on your parts, lol

Hey, no offense taken. I have riden before, and have taken the coarse. I took your advise and looked around a little more and I have found some other deals. I found a 2005 for $6k 3200 miles on it. So I think I am going to pass up on that deal. Thanks for your opinion. - Jay
Yea man way too much. I just picked up an 04 with 5190 miles, 2 bros exhaust, hyperpro damper, vortex rearsets and the usual, FE kit, flushmounts etc.. for $5200. Mint condition clear title.
ORIGINAL: Tahoe SC
yea way too much...
why are these bikes being sold with such little mileage? oh right...it's cold out and the owners prefer to drive to starbvcks.
