Not at all. Just remember to loosen the top bolts slowly. One side at a time. If you loosen them too much, your bike will drop all the way down to the front wheel fairing assuming you're not using a hoist, which I didn't use without any problems.

how did you get the dog bone link out I cant get a wrench in there to do it and I'm stuck at the moment
