i would definately put a shock on the bike and buy a lowering link for it. you can finda lowering link anywhere and they are about 95.00 on ebay or you can go herehttp://store.58cycle.com/SearchResul...+lowering+link . do a search on here thereare a ton ofthreads on lowering.

yes put a stock shock on and a lowering link. the bottom of the shock should connect to a triangular plate on the rear-most hole and the lowering link will replace the factory dogbone. from the forward most hole down to the lower mount. in this pic you can see the triangular mount that i am talking about.. hope this helps..

i did mine in about 15 minutes by myself so if you need any help feel free to ask...

last one..LOL it doesnt take the place of the triangle it connects from the forward hole on the triangle down to the lower mount behind the engine so you do need the triangled piece also.. i will get a pic of my setup tonight hopefully...

The lowering link (dogbone) is longer then stock so it pivots the shock to a lower angle and height.. Very simple to install and when you get one you'll see how it works..

1.5" or 3" with the two hole link or you can buy a threaded adj. one and go any length in between.
