lowering 2002 f4i in the rear
Given that you can see those strips from space, I'm guessing she and/or you are noobs, good choice in bike there buddy. 95bhp at the rear wheel for a noob that can't reach the floor without drastically messing up the handling.
let me tell u what playa if u wana run whateva bike u got against my 1000 , title for title let me kno...noob? me, na not by far.....holla at me ********!!!!!!! that way she can have ur bike well my new bike after i destroy yo ***...but hey its a computer u not talkin bout anything neway......
ima apologize for my previous comment...bein this is my sister account i dont want her to be in anything i start....ima let that roll of my back DONNYBRAGO...not helpin her situation playa...
You can say whatever you please, the most offensive thing I've seen so far is your particular brand of butchering the english language.
Regardless of the manner in which I have said it the advice holds true. A 250 is a much more sensible first bike for a small female; reasonable power, weight, cost of parts etc.

Ok this is Lilbit. (sigh) This is MY account and I let my brother use my screen name since he knows more than I do about the bike itself, but Let ME get some things straight.
1. I signed up for this forum in the first place to hopefully get some encouragment and advice as a new f4i owner from other Honda owners, not to be talked out of the experience or discouraged.
2. I appreciate you all being concerned about me and suggesting I go with a 250cc but as it was stated before, I am going to do what I am going to do. Let me remind you that the thread is about suggestions, ideas, or similar issues that anyone else has had with lowering the bike not about what bike you think would work for me. If you don't have any suggestions or anything to say about the process of the lowering then you are not helping me any with my question.
3. I not some pueny little chick. Short? Yes. I have a 24" inseam with 27" down to the sole of my foot but I have sat on and held up a 600cc just fine in the past, all of which had been lowered. 2 gsxrs and a cbr. I can sit comfortably and reach the grips normally on my f4i. I can handle the weight of the 600 and with practice I am confident I can be a good rider. I simply need more length in my legs to touch.
4. I have had some practice and yes it was on a 600, I have taken the Motorcycle Safety Course, have the endorsement, and have years under my belt of riding passenger and learning about the riding do's and don't's. No I am not a pro and don't claim to be but everyone has to start somewhere to get experience.
5. I am not planning on getting on the highway tomorrow. It's going to take lots of side streets, country roads, and parking lots to practice and get experience but I was planning on baby steps to build up to where I feel comfortable and ready to really get on the road.
6. I have posted a thread on the women's only section. I just thought you guys might have some insight into the mechanical issues with the lowering. I felt it was better to ask as many people as possible.
Lastly, I know plenty of short girls who ride 600's so I won't let anyone discourage me or try to talk me out of it. With the right teachers and the gaining of knowledge, the experience to "handle" it will come too.
Thanks for those that have tried to assist with my adventure and thanks to those of you that have fueled my drive to prove you wrong safely and in due time.
Hopefully we can get back to the actual question asked.

Sent you a private message about this but I'll say it here too: something doesn't sound right about the dogbone you got. Either it's not for the F4i, it's not installed right or we're losing something in the translation talking about different parts.
A lowering link (dogbone) made for an F4i won't interfere with the rear shock if installed right. Got any pics so we can see what's going on?
