Default Lighting Help

I purchased two LED lights for my '99 CBR600F4. How can I wire them up so that they stay permanently lit up when the bike is running? I don't know if I should splice them into my headlight wires. The headlight wires have three connectors while the LEDs only have two, and I don't know if these LEDs will blow if I switch the highbeam on. I thought of wiring them to the turn signals, but they won't stay on permanently while I'm riding. Any ideas?

Where do you plan on putting these LEDs? You can probably splice both to the one headlight, otherwise the other LED won't turn on unless you hit the hit beams. There isn't more power going to the headlights when you flick the highbeams on, the other light simply comes on and is reflected at a higher angle, so you won't blow the LEDs.

^true dat. you can attach them anywhere you find 12v constant, but remember, they only work in one direction. you cannot switch polarity on LEDs. Why? becasue it's a diode silly!

I plan on installing them just below the front air intake ducts. Their main purpose is to show oncoming traffic that I'm a motorcycle and not a car with a burnt out headlight. My turn signals don't light up unless I actually flick the switch, unlike my '03 CBR600 F4i. Also, my '99 CBR600F4 only utilizies one light bulb, so I'm guessing it must switch to a higher wattage during high beams. I'm going to try to experiment with splicing them into the headlight wires. Thanks for the advice!
