Hey guys, new member here, just picked up a 2002 CBR600 F4i.

The bike came with a hotbodies undertail in the rear and the LED integrated lights seemed dangerously dim to me, so one of my first mods was to add these 4 inch LED strips from amazon that act as extra brake lights and turn signals.

I spliced them into the hotbodies wires and they seemed to work perfectly. However, I just realized that when the engine is running the lights appropriately turn red when the brakes are pressed but then start to randomly slowly blink every few seconds. The turn signals work fine. When the engine is off the brake lights work completely fine.

Does anyone have any ideas on why this is happening and if there’s anything I can do? For now I’m just going to disconnect the brake light wires and just run them as turn signals.
