Default Good rear LED brake light/turn signals?

Hey guys,

I inherited an integrated LED tail light (clear) which serves as my brake light and also turn signals. All of my riding buddies tell me that it's impossible to see that I'm signaling correctly and my own tests of the signals with me off the bike (or a buddy riding mine) pretty much confirms it. I have no idea which brand mine is but it appears like the numerous ones I've found on eBay that are clear and have LED lights.

Can anyone recommend something better please? I'm all for having the integrated system as it's clean, but want more visibility for my turn signals if at all possible. What other solutions should I consider?

Thanks all!

Do you have any decent pictures of the model you have Conrice?

Does anyone else have an aftermarket combination brake light/turn signal combo that they recommend? Thank you.

I use to have a clear alternatives intergrated unit on my old F3 and loved it. I will probably go with the same brand again for the 954.

Thanks ajzcamaro, appreciate it.

Should I also be considering full undertail replacements with LED signals? I do see those are available for our bikes and allow for true separation of the turn signals from the brake light assembly.

You could do that. From what I read you have to do some cutting and fitting to install them properly. I'll just stick with the stock undertail, it's not that much different and you don't loose any trunk room that way. There are plenty of guys that have it done on here. I just don't want to spend $100+ for an undertail when I've already removed the fender and cleaned everything up under there.

What about something like this to solve the problem? I'd have to drill 2 small holes in my tail fairing, but the overall spread of the lights and separation from the brake light might be a very good thing. Thoughts?

I'd never seen that as solution until today when I was just browsing around looking at parts.
