I think the ethanol in the fuel may be part of the problem. I get a stutter to falling on its face now and then. It raises hell on carburetor bikes.

Does the problem change if yo go to a different pump and try a stabilizer like Seafoam?

These bikes run lean as is and the additive ethanol requires a richer mixture.

Those plugs look lean-to-good.

This week I was at a Suzuki dealership and the sales guy was telling me that all the water craft, road and off road bikes, snowmobiles and quads, all have a stutter just off idle due to the ethanol. These are new out of the box vehicles with fuel handling problems.

Shop said it was the crabs and ordered a jet kit. They were going to put in the jet kit, sync the carbs, etc BUT found out the same week that I was pregnant again.. soo, since I had the better bike, we sold his, I let him borrow mine until after the baby, and then he is going to get a new one with that said, we exchanged the jet kit for the 93 for my 96 and it is now at the shop getting a jet kit just because. my husband had also bought me an adjustable rear lowering link for Christmas. My bike is going to be awesome for me after the baby is born Cj plans on getting a 954rr lol we will see..

^If I were you, I'd go for a ride down a bumpy dirt road in a P/U early morning on the 4th. LOL

And yes, re-jetting is where I was going but I guess I didn't say it.

I hate when shops try to take advantage of women. Damn Crabs. Good thing is, if you get a 954, definitely never get crab problem. Congrats!!
