Default indicator problem - desparate for help !

Got problems with my 91 (FM) CBR 600.

Failed M.O.T last week.

Several faults - been taken care of.

One problem left - fault with rear tail/brake lights.

tail/brake lights pulse slightly along with front side/main beam lights.

when indicators are flashing.

Have spent hours trying to find the fault - you name it - i've tried it !

has anybody come across this problem before.

Help would be greatly recieved.

D-B.

My first guess would be your battery is weak. Bikes run the electronics off the battery, and the charging system on bikes are not strong enough to make up for weak battery, especially at low rpm.

Try bringing the rpms up to around 3000 or so and try it again. If the problem goes away, you've found your issue.

With your rpms idling around 1200-1500.... you shouldn't have any issues. if you do, your battery is probably at fault.
