Im having the same problem. Anyone with ideas? Fuses are fine. When I turn the key no lights or anything.

I turned my key to start position, all lights went on, instrument cluster, headlight, etc...

As I pressed the start button a Buzz sound occured, the sound was similar to a door buzzer. All lights went out at this point. I turned the key off and then back to the start position again. All lights came on at this point. As I pressed the start button the same exact thing happened and now the lights and instrument cluster are all dead. No power what-so-ever.

Any thoughts on what is wrong here?
Fuse? Battery? Short?

I checked the fuse box near the front of the bike, all fuses seem fine, Does the f4 have more than one fuse location? if so where?

Thanks in advance.

Tony, you can't turn the key to on? Or the bike just wont turn over? The way you put it sounds like the key doesn't work. If thats the case take it to a locksmith to have it re-keyed (15 bucks).

To you both...More info. Where you riding one day and the next daythe bike wont start? Could be about a million things but give a little more info and we can start to help get them running again.

Mystro, Its your battery. When you hit the start button itpulls power fromthe battery hence the dimming lights but after a few starts without it running it really drains the battery. Sound like thats your problem. As to the "buzz" noise you heard, i really dont know. Unless it was a fuse blowing or the fuel pump priming. Lets see if anyone chimes in on that.
Have you checked the 30amp main fuse?

When it was fully charged, did the starter turn?
