Spark plug trouble and low rpm firing trouble... please help

Default Spark plug trouble and low rpm firing trouble... please help

I have an 88 hurricane and at low rpms it has a clicking noise and the rpms stumble. I am trying to install new plugs, but i cant find the right socket to remove the old plugs. the 18mm wont work and doenst like to fit down the tube well. Any suggestions? Please help

for my 2002 F4i, i used a 5/8 socket for the spark plug; it's the same thing with my corolla.

my 18mm deep socket worked just fine with my 3/8" snap-on flex ratchet.....
did my plugs and wires in like 20 minutes... literally.... helps that im a honda mechanic at a dealership........

as for the click sound at low rpm... that sounds to me like either the valves.... (check valve clearances) or your cam chain tensioner took a **** on you.... mine just did if it makes you feel any better......

got it fixed! the click was from a bad plug and for some reason not all 18mm deep sockets are the same... i used on from my work that was 18mm and it worked fine, but the one from the auto store was too fat... no idea why
