Default having trouble...

i bought these signals on ebay.
the wires do not match up to my stock cbr f3 rear light and signal wires. Any pointers?

black is ground and yellow is hot. Get a cheap test light (couple bucks), turn on your turn signal and touch the test light to each wire till it comes on. It will probably blink as your turn signal blinks. Dont hook it up to the wire that keeps it lit, thats for your running light. Do that for each side. Hook that wire up to the yellow wire and hook the black one up to the frame. Make sure you get good contact with the black wire, paint will not conduct electricity. Good luck. And NO you cannot hook it up for a running light AND a turn signal, one or the other.

Okay, so i think that i got it. But i hooked the black wires up as well to some wires that were hanging there. LOL the signals work in proper order. Is there any chance of burning anything if i have them hooked up wrong even though they seem to function properly?

one was working as a running lightas well for some reason but the other wasnt.....[&:]

Okay i have them grounded and they work as running lights.
