Default HISS light wont turn off

Sorry but havnt been here in a good while (selling 600rr03) herself having a shild, buying house, the list goes on, but a few months back I got back on a 99 cbr600f4.

All has been great, really is something else and so muc fun, but yesterday morning I came down to see that someone had jammed a screwdriver into the ignition barrel and it looks like they tried to stab the back of the box thing at the back of the barrel, I think they messed around with the wires aswell there

Anyway, the key still goes it and the elecs will all start (cnat hear the pump prime, the bike is beside the water pump for the apartment block so its very loud) but the hiss light stays on.
The bike will try to start, as if its flooded, turning over really strongly but just wont bite

Anyone got an idea how I can get it started, just so I can ride it to the shop.

Since it looks like only the barrel is damaged, and the hiss light still lights up (just wont turn off) is it a matter of the dealership resetting it and popping a new barrel in and putting the old chip in the new key

thanks

Easterner I take it? I believe the HISS system is embedded in the ICM right? If that's active it's not going to start as the ignition and/or fuel delivery will be disabled. I'm sure you could un-HISS it with a US key cylinder and ICM.
