Hi,

I was wondering if any of you have experienced this problem before. The HISS light on my bike ('04 600 rr) does not keep flashing after a certain period of time. For instance, I could get home after a ride on Sunday, that night I will check and the light will be on, Monday I will get home from work and the light will be off again? I can then reset it to stay on but the same thing will happen again.

Have any of you had this happen on your bikes?

 

Sorry, but what's the HISS light?

 

Yeah the light flashes for 24 hours then stops but don't worry this is meant to happen and the HISS is still working.
check page 56 owners manual.

Really? They've got that on the 600RR?

 

On the european models yeah. US models don't.

 

.....yeah, well, I want a HISS light too! Why should the europeans have all the good stuff? LOL.

yeah when i read over the meaning of HISS..i was like damnit why didnt i have a blinkin light.

new to this forum and new proud owner of 04 CBR600 RR.

replaced the battery for my bike and the H.I.S.S light now does not come on you obviously have a manual p56 so i'm told...
could you please tell me how to turn it back on
