Default Help Meeeee My Bikes Screwedddd!!

Hey I know this is a forum for big bikes only but I have a CBR 250R and i'm convinced its screwed!!

I bought it today and the max it revs out to while in a gear is about 8-10,000rpm!! Top speed is like 80kph-thats so not right!!! Also it's hard to change gears n the acceleration is pathetic!! Does anyone know whats the prob?? Anyone???

Please help,

Peter.

seems like it could be many a problem, unless you want to give us a more in depth analysis i'd suggest taking it to a local shop and have a pro look at it. but from the sounds of it there are many possible problems, your timing might be out, carbs may need to be cleaned(if it has carbs, not familiar with bike), the acceleration is mostlikely carbs, ignition or some compination of the two.

Thanx for the help man I got it checked out and it was 2 blocked secondary injecters. They fixed it but then later that nite (last nite) my bike just stalled and the freeway, couldn't accelerate at all!!! Still got fuel in it so i'm convinced i was sold a lemon i'm taking it back for good this time. Damn old bikes!!!

Thanx again,

Peter.
