Default Im new to bikes and need help

So I have an 03 honda F4I. I just did an oil change and the bike has 25k. Before I did the oil change when I leave the ignition on, a red light stays on,my oil light blinks, and of course my neutral light. I figured after I did the oil change that the oil sign would go away? It does go away after I turn on the bike. Is that normal? What does the red light mean? Like I said Im a newbie. Thanks

that is an idiot light to tell you your bike has problems. it has to do wit hthe oil pressure I believe. It is sopposed to go out. When your bike is running, it should have no lights on the dash. You can have your high beams and that is a blue light, green is neutral, the other red is a FI light and if that stays on than you got some trouble.

It's an oil pressure light.... if the bike is not running, there is no oil pressure, it's supposed to be on. That means it's doing what it's supposed to do

You car will do the same thing. Go turn the ignition on, and look at the idiot lights. Then start it, and they should all disappear.
