ok so this sound is most noticible sp coming up around the triple tree. it sometimes does it when its in idle then cuts out at higher revs. now its doing it at idle and when its revving. also sometimes after i ride it a while and it warms up it will quit but others it is the exact opposite and it will start when its getting warmer. any insight is great. my local shop wont even speculate without charging me. i think its the cct but its not really coming from that area. i dunno im confused. first of all what kind of bike is it ?

 

may or may not be the cct,but i installed a manual tensioner on mine the other day,and boy its quiet now.
