I have been noticing lately that right at about 5K my bike makes a clicking sound, not really like it did when the stock CCT was on but quiter. more of like a hum sound with a click to it. is it possible that the APE CCT has loosened, or is possible that when they installed it, maybe they put it on too tight. If anybody that has already changed theirs does your bike do this also? thanks

the click could also be an exhaust leak or just your valves ticking.

valve tick and chain rattle are two very distinct sounds. valve ticks will increase with RPM and will be present during just idling. so will exhaust leak.

the other is more noticeable during load.
