Default Helmet Painting Help....

Anyone have any advice or how to's on painting a helmet?

I ask because I bought a new helmet to match my new bike and I wanted to use my old one as a spare or for a passenger but it's the Scorpion Raider Helmet that is green/silver/black. It is far from matching my blue RR. It might seem **** to some but I really just want to paint it gloss black. I considered buying another one but don't want the expense and tried to sell it on ebay with no takers after I was all but giving it away. I am pretty good at painting and just wanted to know if any of you guys knew what I would need paint and primer wise and if you had a few tips to give me?
Thanks in advance....
