Getting JB Weld off..

Default Getting JB Weld off..

I have a 929 that has jb weld on the case that i would like to remove and get it welded. does anybody know a good way to remove it? Thanks in advance..

Most people dont clean the metal right before useing JB Weld. Have you tried useing a a screwdriver and a hammer? Tap it very lightly.

JB weld usually sands off pretty easy. Like mentioned above, a small chisel and hammer should work adequately.

Unless the previous owner propperly prepped the material....in that case, your best bet would be to carefully grind it off or even better just get a used one off ebay or the private for sale forums on this site.
