split weld

Default split weld

anybody ever heard of the frame weld cracking on the left side of frame in front of the tank ? heard some ppl say its from bringing the bikr down to hard off a wheelie..... they say 929s 954s are bad to do that

sounds like a def possible cause. Cant actually say they are bad to do that since its the abuse thats the cause

i have never heard of this being common. Not to say it cant happen, but its not a issue with these bikes

Btw, who is
some people
? Do they actually ride 929s 954s? I personally have had 2 954s, neither of which ever had a problem in cracking frame weilds, in fact in over two years of being on this forum this is the first time i have ever heard of this, for this bike. I HAVE heard some 1000fs and other late model bikes having some problems for cracking the front weilds from being stunted, but they weigh ALOT more than a 929 954.

I've heard of alot more GSX-R's breaking at the neck than any Honda just cracking a weld lol

i know the gsxr's are bad about it never heard of it on 929/954

this is whats left of an 07 gsxr 600 rfame welds are junk from 05-08
