Default Front tire randomly skids

Hey guys,

Im new to this forum and im having a problem.

Over the past week or so my front tire has been randomly skidding. its like a slight skid, almost as if my front tire stops for a split second, even though it isn't since it happens on both low or high speeds, nor do i feel the bike dip forward as if i were hitting the front breaks. When it happnes the handle bars jerk, sometimes very slightly like i ran over a pebble, other times violently (happened during a turn once, almost needed new pants)

So have any of you guys experienced this? what could you think could be causing the problem?

Any ideas can help really i have no idea what could be causing it.

Thanks alot.

Your front wheel bearings may be locking up. Have you lifted the front off the ground to see how it spins? Don't ride it until you fix it!

Also...check air-pressure, although this sounds more like demon's got the right call.
I also agree, get it figured out before you do any more road time with it.

Hello,

First off, thank you for welcoming me, and for the answers!

Any way, i think demon may be right as i asked some where else and got a similar answer, not only that it has like a grinding noise when it moves (i didn't notice it until i was riding next to a wall and hearing it echo back.)

So thanks alot for the confirmation guys!
