Default Front Brake Issues

Why in the world would my front brake be really squishy(yes- that's a technical term) when I first grab it, but if i pump it a few times, it gets a little bit more firm each time, then it finally gets to where I'm used to. Also, if I let it sit for a little bit, but not very long, it stays firm. But anything longer than 4-6 hours and its back to being super squishy. Could this be air in my lines?

Could be. Check the fluid level first. Have you done any work to the brakes lately? Fluid level really low, and you added more? If not, and there's no visible leaks, the master cylinder might be bad, and need an overhaul/replace. Also check the lines and look for any bulging or soft spots.

you may also waunt to pick some brake fluid and try bleeding your brakes, because it sounds like ther is some air in the system. make sure that all the connections for the front brake are tight(bolts & fittings).

Yeah, I just switched to SS brake lines and fittings.

if the brake goes squishy after a few hours.. you have a air leak somewhere, most likely in your master cylinder cap.. but somewhere the system is losing pressure .. its not going to be the lines.. cause if they were loose any liitle bit they would leak brake fluid when the lever is pumuped up

SInce you just changed the lines, you probably have air in there. Bleed the system again and see how that works. My guess is that should solve your problem.
