Brake Issues
I just put new pads on the front brakes the other day, and upon putting it back together I noticed I had a soft feel to my brake. I decided to go ahead and flush and bleed the lines, but this didn't fix the problem. I then tested the master cylinder which also checked out good. I think what is happening is that the rotor on the right hand side is slightly warped, and when it runs across the caliper it backs the piston back into the caliper, thus making the piston have that much further to travel which would explain the "soft" brake feel. Does this make sense to any one else before I go dumping the money into a new rotor? Also, shouldn't the caliper float and take the hit rather than having the piston of the cylinder be pushed back in? I just don't know if I should go ahead and replace the caliper of the rotor.
Another issue I'm having is a loss of power in the upper RPM range. The bike used to be easy to lift into a wheelie in first and second, but now there is no power. I've checked the timing, air hoses, and fuel system so far. Could this maybe be the clutch slipping?
Thanks in advance
