Default Front Brake Issues!

Hey guy I got a quick question.

I was went for a rideand about 10 min into the ride, my front brakes started losing pressure. When I got the bike stop I started pumping on the brake lever and the pressure came back to normal but when I took of again I lost pressure.

So I bought a "1 Man Bleeder" Kit from Autozone to bleed the brakes. I also bought enough fluid to flush them and replace with new fluid. I flushed & bled them perfectly correct, but....

I am still have the SAME PROBLEM!

They work fine when I am at a stop. Well the pressure is there fully with the "dial" set at 1 - 6
But when I take off the front brakes loose pressure and dont start grabbing until about 3/4 of pull. On all "Dial Settings"

My brake pads should be fine. I only have 4980 miles on it. And I have only done a few Stoppies.

ANY IDEAS?

dirty calipers sticking?

assuming that the brake system doesnt have a leak and is letting in air some where

by lose pressure do you mean there is no resistance on the lever or it gets "spongy"

When I set the 1-6 dial on 1 it has always grabbed quickly by bearly pulling in the lever.
When the issue started, as I am moving the brakes dont start grabbing until 3/4 of a pull on the lever. With it still set on 1 on the dial.
But when I am stopped they work perfectly fine. It does it when I am moving!

Stoppies is the awnser, a friend of mine who is just learning stoppies had the same problem, BRAKE PADS GLAZE OVER when extreemly hot. take the pads off and look at them, sand the glazed finish off with steel whool or a low grit sand paper. dust them off and re-instal them, and let me know if problem persists.

well I took it to a shop finally to get it fixed since I couldnt figure it out.
1. It wasnt Air in the lines
2. It wasnt Glazed Pads

It was a sticky right piston & bent left rotor!

Ahhhhhhhh more money! I had them disassemble both calipers and clean them. As well as order me a new brake rotor!
Not going to be able to ride until Monday! (I dropped it off on friday) Boo...... but it will be back

I would have said you need to rebuild the master cylinder or calipers. By the way the dial 1-6 is to change how far away the brake lever is from the bar. It doesn't really do anything to the brakes themselves. It just allows you to move the levers closer or futher to adjust for your hand size.
