Default Found Small Metal Piece During Oil Change – 2016 CBR125R

Hi everyone,
I was doing an oil change on my 2016 CBR125R and, while removing the oil strainer to clean it, I discovered a small metal piece sitting underneath it. I've attached a photo for reference.

Does anyone recognize what this part might be or where it could have broken off from? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

No, sorry. I’ve been through all of the parts diagrams for that model that would be relevant and I cannot see a match.

It’s quite mangled but appears to be a clamp of some form, two hollowed, curved arms tightened by a bolt?

I think it's part of the ball cage of a bearing.
Possibly from the transmission (https://www.motorcyclespareparts.eu/...7-transmission) — bearing no. 33, 34, or 35,
or maybe from the crankshaft (https://www.motorcyclespareparts.eu/...nkshaft-piston) — bearing no. 14.

Possibly but what’s the bolt on the left of the first detailed picture. Also, if it was part of a ball cage you’d know about it well before changing your oil.
