I got a 96 cbr 600 F3 and it has always had that cam chain noise from the tensioner. I took the 2 mounting bolts on the tensioner loose about a round and a half and let the shaft pop out just barely then tightened it back down. It no longer makes that noise. Now the question is, Is what I done going to be ok for it or is what I done not good for it? Is there something that you can do instead of replacing the CCT?
