distribution chain?
Hi, so I took a look at my cct and I think Tahoe was right about that pin, it had a big free play, along with the end of the cct. I haven't fixed this one because tomorrow I will install a new one and see how it works. But 2 months ago, a friend tried to synchronize my carbs and he didn't quite succeed although the indicators were at the same value, and he recomended a compression test. So today I did it, after the manual and I found values about 225-230 psi instead of 178 psi !! and I don't think it is from carbon deposits..at 25000 km..I also noticed something
n the cylinder head it is a number (from factory) OF 1 39, and near it, a mechanic I think, wrote: I OF 29. I wonder what that numbers mean...i have a supposition but this sounds no good at all...[sm=smiley5.gif]. So if anybody has any idea...[sm=type.gif]

So I have installed the new cct and it seems to be ok by now. I have also flaered the pin in the new cct. I have also found the reason why the compresion is so high... 230psi instead of 178...it seems that the engine was overheated and the cylinder head went curved, so they straighted it by cuting both ends of it...I dont know how much, I think about 0.1, 0.2 mm from both ends...I could see this on the edges. So the cylinder head is lower now, and that' s the cause of high compresion. I wonder how much will resist the other components of the engine at this compression...
