Cooling fan not working.
Thinking back I don't think I've heard the fan kick on at all this year. It hasn't been very warm until now so I definitely notice the temp gauge moving closer to "H". The other day after being stuck in traffic for awhile I parked the bike and a couple minutes came back out to find a nice puddle of coolant on the ground. I assume that's what happens when the bike overheats? Any ideas on how to figure out what's wrong with my fan. The fuses are fine and the connector looks fine. Thanks for any help!
if you can get to the connector run a couple jumper wires off your battery, or another 12v battery you have lying around, and hook power and ground up to it and see if it runs. make sure you have them hooked up correctly though. that will at least test the fan to see if its working correctly. or you might have a bad switch causing it not to turn on since you said your fuses were good.
