Check the oil, and try to adjust it before diving into replacing it! I have an F3 and I thought for sure I needed a new clutch, but I changed the oil and adjusted the adjuster andit feels like brand new

its not hard at all, id say take the clutch plates out and measure them to see if they fall within tolerances, if not, replace them. if you do decide to dive into your right sidecover and see whats up, i suggest buying, or downloading the factory service manual for your bike, easily the most valuable thing i own pertaining to my bike, it tells you EXACTLY how things go in, come out, what torque and clearance numbers everything should be in. either way, i can give you a basic rundown on how to remove the old clutch plates and springs and install the new ones.
