so i was syncing my carbs and i hear this strange clicking sound that seems to come and go hear and there it sounds like the fuel pump does when you have the gas turned off and its just constantly trying to pump fuel..

its coming from the right side of the bike near carbs 3 and 4.. and it gets faster when the rpms increase and sometimes it goes away for a few seconds.

bikes a 97 f3 with 27k miles

 

could this be a noise coming from the valves? should i check my valve clearances?

 

How many miles on the bike ?

 

lol 27k its at the very bottom of the original post. im gonna change my cct first because it is coming from the right side of the bike and since it comes and goes im gonna hope its the cct

i feel like if it was the valves it would be constant

It was that jumpin icon that distracted me...

CCT certainly sounds like a reasonable probability.
