Cheers mate. That will definitely clean up those flakes for ya. Not sure the size of the opening on the tank of yours but if possible once all done with the vinegar, try to get a scour pad inside the tank. On mine I can just fit my hand down in there and able to scour the inside of the tank as well to get anything that may be stubborn inside on the walls.

Sure there are other ways of doing this but this under 20 dollar method is a top tip in my book.

Cheers Sebastion. Watched this vid myself when I was about to start the process. The good thing about the vinegar is that it can sit in there for 30 minutes or 30 hours. It will not really cause any harm. What it will do and keep this in mind is it will not stop new rust from forming since its 95% water.
