I have a 954 rr and love it and enjoy riding it very much. To me it is a little monster waiting to be unleashed. Unfortunately just doesn't seem like that many people own them anymore. Here in GA I have seen one and it was up for sale. It is rather unfortunate they seem to have lost some popularity. If all of us race ready 954 owners lived close enough we could get one hell of a group ride together. Mine has a scorpion pipe on it and it sounds rad.

ya, this place does seem to be dead, i check this forum out every now and then, but i usually am in the racing section. i think the reason is that there are other forums with a lot more info and a lot more people on them (fireblades.org). i mean, that place seems to be nothing but 929 and 954 owners.

What other forums are out there for 929 and 954 owners besides fireblades.org, thanks?

I was noticing the same thing. Seems like every time I check here there is only like one new thread. I think I have the only 954 in my county.....I have yet to see another one. ga_skyline_rydr, where are you at? I'm down in Valdosta, GA about 18 miles north of the GA/FL line.

I am in Forsyth County about 45 minutes away from the NC border and like 15-20 minutes from the N GA mountains.

Like the 929 then the 954 becomes a wanted bike and a rarity. I have had two litre bikes, a triumph 955i and a yamaha FZ 1 and the 954 does not disappoint in the least.
