Anyone know what the hottest spark i can put in a 98 f3? Sparkplug wise

 

Why do you need a hotter plug? If you go too hot you risk detonation, which kinda sucks sometimes

 

Just a temp fix til i can afford to rebuild the motor. Either valves are way out or rings are taking a dump. Getting oil in the cylinder and it has trouble starting, compression leak somewhere. Mechanic friend suggested a hotter spark and thicker oil til i can afford to fix it
