Default Brake Light

I noticed yesterday that the brake light on my F4i isn't working. The tail light works fine, but no brake light with either the foot or hand brake. The fuses are all fine and there doesn't appear to be any other electrical issues. I have an LED license plate bracket that flashes with the brake light when stopping and that's the only thing I can think of that might have somethingto do with it.Any ideas what it could be?

Bulb. Is that a dual-filament type?

Yeah, dual filament. If I remember right, I think there are two bulbs on the tail light, though. So I doubt they both went bad at the same time. Plus, the LED's on the license plate bracket don'tget brighterwhen the brakes are appliedlike they normally do.

I just had both of my running tail lights go out. Not sure if they went at the same time or not because I just bought it a couple months ago. The bulbs are only $1 or $2 a piece so i'd say buy them and replace them. If they aren't burnt out then it only cost you a couple bucks and you'll have spare ones for later.

Yes, I thought the same thing once too. However, I had a situation where both of the lights burnt out (just the brakes) on my f4i. So before you check the brake switches, I would really take out the bulbs.
Just as a heads up. If you front break switch on the f4i does not work than the rear will not respond as well. After you check out the bulb make sure that the connections are secure from the lights to the connectors and from switchs to the harness.
