Well, something obviously was banging around in that combustion chamber for a while. Either someone pulled the head to retrieve it, or it got whittled down to something that finally made it past the exhaust valve. If you're asking if I think that that piston is salvageable, I'd say 'no'.

That's what I figured, I need to check the bores as well. If I can even get a replacement from JE, all they currently advertise is 67mm. Then I'm looking at new rings from what I understand. I missed out on a complete running engine with 9k miles for $300, pretty bummed on that one...
