Default Bike won't start

I have a 2000 Honda CBR 600F4. I recently changed the spark plugs and put the bike back together. I added fuel stabilizer. The bike now will not start. I got a can of started fluid and sprayed it into the air intake. The bike will start and run until the spray is burned off. It will rev up while it is running but then dies after the spray is burned. I tried the petcock on all three settings. Which setting is it suppose to be on? I have ruled out that the problem is air or spark and I believe that it is the fuel. Should I drain the tank and try again with fresh gas? Thanks for any help. JOE

Probably no need for that drastic of a deal. Check the petcock when unhooked from the carbs and see if it flows. Does it have a fuel pump or gravity feed? Check that stuff. Normally Down is on and up is Reserve while center is Off.
