Default Bike will not start

The battery is new and the lights come on just fine. When I hit the ignition switch a rapid clicking noise comes from the area of the fuse box or starter relay switch. The bike does not turn over and I just get the clicking noise.

I tested all the conections and looked at the fuses and they all seem fine.

Any suggestions?

Dax

soounds like your not getting enough voltage to the starter relay to get it to stay "closed" or the relay is bad. you can check with a volt meter while trying to start it and make sure youre getting around 12-13volts to the relay, if so, then i would suggest replacing it

There are three wires going into the relay, which one do I test? Also, do I have to try starting the bike to see the voltage or do I just have to switch the bike on?

not sure what kinda bike you have, on my f4i, the yellow/red one is the one that comes from the start button, when you push the button with the iginition "on" it should have fire to it. you should have 2 larger wires (one from the batt and one to the starter) if you have fire to the relay check the wire from the starter while holding the start button, if the relay is bad it wont be "hot"
