The problem i am having here is when i am riding by bike it shuts off at different intervals and a red rectangular lights comes up on the speedo....however if i realise it is going to cut out and i pull in the clutch and roll and give it a rev it sometimes catches back with out having to start again and rides normal for awhile and give the same problem all over, similarly to 01 cbrf-4i problem posted earlier.
i also realise on leavimg it to idle it just cuts out as well when it feels like.
any one have any ideas... thanks

 

I responded in the PM you sent... I'm thinking fuel management problem. How many miles on and when was the last tune-up (plugs and wires)? Does this sound like a good place to start? Again... low voltage could cause it to die and when you rev it up the generator and rectifier will put out more voltage bringing it back to life.

You said it dies at different intervals; does it ever die while you're riding or in a RPM range above 5000?

I'd check the battery voltage and plugs.
