Thanks for the replies everyone. I got a new battery from Interstate... but it was an OEM Yuasa battery YTZ10-S... which is great. Anyway I put it in and it runs fine. I guess the original battery was so dead it took all the charge from the car. And it was running off the car for 10 minutes too. I got lucky.

Yeah the small tender works great, who would`ve thought that for it being so small...
