Question 2002 F4i shut off while riding

Hey my bike's engine shut off while I was riding the other day, I say engine bc that's all that shut off my display stayed on. As I coasted I tried to restart it and it just made a "turning over" sound. Once stopped I checked it all out and I'm stumped, my starter relay is clicking when I try to start it and all I can think is possibly something came loose and now a circuit is not complete. All my fuses are good and I just recently changed plugs, cleaned out throttle bodies, oil change etc for my maintenance so I don't foresee it being anything in that area. Why would my engine shut off while riding and not start back up despite having plenty of voltage and what appears to be the right connections hooked up AND all cleaned??? I would venture to say my stator or something but would that cause my engine to shut off WHILE I'm riding??? Any ideas???

Not saying this is your issue but to ans you last Q, a bad R/R will stop an engine in mid-operation.

Yeah possibly, I'll check it out.. I'm willing to exhaust all measures. I just know its going to be something small I've overlooked and I'll look like a newb lol

Check the tip over switch under the windshield.
