Bike running lean
So I've taken apart my carbs, cleaned them thoroughly, put a stage 1 dynojet kit in and new #42 pilot jets, turned the fuel mixture screw out 4 turns, and it's still running lean.
My problem is it's hesitating on take off. I'll get going and it hesitates then after like two seconds it'll go. It runs like a monster after that so if I buy bigger pilot jets (I think the next step is #45) would that solve my problem?
Before I had my mixture screws turned out 3 turns instead of 4 and once I turned them out to 4 I noticed the hesitating got a lot better, but it's still very much there. If I keep turning them out I don't know how much it'll help cause if the pilot jet is too small, I can turn it out all I want and it won't make a difference.
I just wanna see what you guys think before I start spending money.
Mods:
Vance and Hines slip on
K&N air filter
Stage 1 Dynojet kit
Also would I have to adjust anything else other then the pilot jets?
