Unhappy 1995 CBR600F3 Died while on highway

Bought this CBR 2 days ago. Rode it hard on the freeway for about 1 hour (doing 100mph+) and it died on me. To be clear when it died I was doing 80mph, and it slowly died over the span of 10 seconds. It wouldn't start back up. The battery is now dead after trying to start it for about 5 seconds.
Is this a regulator/recitifier issue?

When my RR failed it did suddenly. It sometimes let you know it's about to fail. Think with the summer in now and people riding more, we'll have more and more already suspect RRs failing.
Think if the RR fails then you are done. Nothing works. Nothing at all. No dials, no clicks, nothing. Even if you have full charge in your battery.

When mine had failed it showed after a high rpm ride.
As we split our different ways on the way home I went to use the horn in my farewell to my friends and thought " that didn't sound right". I had to grab some fuel to get home and she wouldn't restart. Battery was flat. The weird horn sound should of told me something was wrong.
Two drunkards helped me with a bump start ( they were so pissed it was amazing they could even run lol) and eventually I got home.
Quick check with multimeter and r/r diagnosed as bad. Think it cost me about £60 to replace but can't be sure. The loom was also damaged by heat.
Hope you get it sorted mate.
