Question Wierd noise and engine bucks

Team,

So i recently was hearing a wierd noise coming from my engine... like a random rattle, or rock in a coke can type noise. I figured it was the CCTl and replaced it. It didnt stop the noise.... Anyway, I took her out for a spin and rode about 1.5 hours to the beach and the noise got really bad between 3-6000rpms. AND in that range my engine was seem to bog down, and buck at times....

Really need advice on what this could be before I take it to the shop and possibly get raped!

Thanks in advance!

Can you give us something to watch/listen to?
I'm thinking you have a connecting rod or a timing chain issue.

Default No go

Hey so I tried to replicate the sound but with out riding it I couldn't :/ it sounds like a chain slipping and hitting the edges

Check the drive chain and sprockets. If it only happens while moving, that narrows it down to a component that only moves when your moving.

Its actually more prevalent when not moving. Also, its tends to be more noticeable when the bike was ridden for awhile. I know a lot of people say the Cam Chain should get less noisy as it warms up, this seems to be the opposite.
