Unhappy Why are my signals constantly on?

I bought a used '03 F4i recently. So far i had to replace the CCT with a manual one and a fuel pressure regulator. Now what irritates me is that on the gauge cluster both left and right Signal lamps are constantly illuminated. And all 4 signals are shining bright. When I use the signal switch to the left, both Left front and rear signals blink, to the right both Right front and rear blink. To me it looks as if it has no running light. Just full bright on constantly and the blink thats all. they are really common looking after market STOCK lights. i'll take some pics and Video. i'll check if the bulb is a 1 way or 2 way. Any help would be appreciated

Now that i see it... It maybe the wrong type of signal lights. Here is the video.

If their aftermarket then they probably only have one hot wire and a ground. If so then you can only use them for either running lights or turn signals. ---Their is a guide on here showing how to make aftermarket signals like this function as both turn signals and running lights however.

But if it is blinking while the other side stays illuminated then I'm thinking that's how a factory turn signal works....can't give expert advice, never had oem turn signals on my bike. It came with aftermarket and I'm used to having no running lights for my front signals. My rear are integrated so they function as my running/brake/turn signals.

Those are only on/off bulbs, NO running light filament. You will have to remove your running light wire from them. I do not think my 2 to 3 wire conversion will work in this case, the diodes may not take the current from running filament bulbs.(may be wrong though.)

But yea, in the meantime, disconnect the running light wire from your signals and you will be all fine and dandy. (Running light is Light blue WITH white stripe, and Orange WITH white stripe)

@ yellowcbr - thanks bro thats just what i needed. The constant on makes the whole turn signal housing heat up. i'm sure i'll burn a bulb if its constantly on. I'm gonna tear it down here shortly. Again thanks for all the help!
