'02 CBR F4i Makeover
Hey guys!
It's been awhile since my last post here. Long story; school, work etc... etc... Couldn't find any time for anything pretty much. But today, after a short ride, I decided to eventually take some photos and share with you the results of some project that a good friend of mine was able to pull off for me.
A short story about how it all happened. Some day I saw this ducati on a parking lot. I thought to myself at that point, what if something alike can be put on F4i?! And hey, I was owner of one! Then I recalled that one friend of mine was a bike enthusiast and liked to do some small projects on his own. So I asked him if it was possible to master something like that (I explained the over all idea). He was very helpful and found all the necessary parts + time to actually craft the thing.
The parts that were thrown in:
- Race fairings
- CRG levers
- Softer grips (yes, they really did make whole difference!)
- Zero Gravity double bubble
- Seat cowl (Targa)
One of the biggest enemy was poor fitment of the fairings. The lower panel still didn't quite completely fit, but we were happy with the final results.
Here are the photos I took today:

You can see that my camera doesn't really suit low light scenes, but I kind of like the photos anyways Will update the album with some "day light" photos as well. You can see the "before" examples there too!
I was hesitant on posting this thread in main F4i, hope there is no problem with that!! And please let me know if the link to the photos didn't work.
Please comment away! I'm really interested in your opinion!

Yeah it came out to be pretty good, though don't really have time to ride anymore
@NateDieselF4i: thanks for posting the pics on the forum!
@__Z__: What did you end up doing to your bike? Did you do any changes?
The rear sets are the only thing that I would change on this bike.
