Default White Smoke on Startup

I get a little bit of white smoke while my bike is warming up. It doesn't start right away when I start the bike either. It goes for about 20 seconds with nothing, and then I get some white smoke. Once the engine drops from the 2k rpm warming up down to the 1k running range, it goes away again. Is that normal?

its just cold out. just like how cars put out white smoke when it's cold. Unless it keeps doing it even when its warm outside or your getting coolant in ur oil you should be fine

Yep.. Hot exhaust will pull in moisture from the air and then condense. It will take the exhaust to get warm again for it to evaporate.

+2 on that. It is condensation. You can tell because it disappears almost right after coming out of the exhaust. Every bike I have owned, except the cruiser, did that.

I have a buddy that has a 900 RR, and his doesn't do that. It also did it the other day when it was about 60 out. I also have a friend with a 600 Ninja, and his doesn't do it either. I am not really concerned about it though, it runs fine and I just changed my oil which had no antifreeze in it. I will keep watching as it gets warmer and see what happens. Thanks for the help.
