White smoke

Default White smoke

I just got a new 2006 CBR600F4i with 7 miles on it and today was the first real day i got to do a little riding, and i noticed as i was letting it warm up for the ride there was what seemed to be an excessive amount of white smoke(?) coming from the exhaust. Any ideas on the normalcy of this?

Weather Conditions: The first half of the day was raining and about 60 degrees, the latter half of the day wasn't raining so i took the ride. Maybe the cold had something to do with the exhaust problem?

This is most likely condensation or humidity, cars have the same thing when its that temperature and humidity.

Yeah, don't worry about it. If its raining or cold its gonna blow tons of steam while its warming up.

Probably just condensation. If you see or smell oil, gasoline,or coolant coming out the exhaust then you got problems.

Thanks guys, i figured it was no problem, but after forking over damn near what i paid for my car, i want everything running correctly

When I first bought mine, I was surprised at how far the "white smoke" shot out. You'll notice if its a cold morning...you'll get a lot more of it. I don't know where your at but if you wait till the temp outsite is like 80 or so...you shouldn't get any....then maybe you got a problem.
